Localfy helps businesses plan and publish content to their own Facebook Pages and Instagram Business/Creator accounts. We only act after you connect your accounts and grant permissions. You can disconnect at any time from inside Localfy or your Meta account settings.
Information We Collect
- Account & identifiers: your name, email, and platform IDs (e.g., Page ID, Instagram user/media IDs).
- Auth tokens: access tokens issued by Meta to perform actions you’ve enabled (stored encrypted at rest).
- Content & assets: captions, scheduling data, and references/URLs to media you upload or link.
- Usage & analytics: log data (timestamps, API responses/IDs), performance metrics (impressions, reach), and basic device/network metadata.
- Support data: information you send to our support team (emails, attachments, screenshots).
How We Use Information
- Publish and schedule posts you configure and approve.
- Reply/moderate comments when you use engagement features.
- Show analytics, audit logs, and posting history.
- Operate, secure, and improve the service (debugging, abuse prevention).
- Provide support and important service notices.
Legal Bases (where applicable)
We rely on your consent (connecting accounts and enabling features), contract necessity (to provide the service), and legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, quality improvements).
Data Retention
We retain posting history, IDs, and analytics while your account is active. If you disconnect Facebook/Instagram, we stop making API calls and remove associated access tokens promptly. You can also request deletion at any time (see “Your Choices” and “Data Deletion” below).
Your Choices & Controls
- Disconnect / revoke: in Localfy (Settings → Connected Accounts) or via your Meta settings.
- Pause automation: toggle Auto-Posting off at any time.
- Access, correction, deletion: contact support@localfy.me. We will help export or delete your data subject to legal/operational limits.
Data Deletion (Meta Requirement)
You can delete Facebook/Instagram data connected to your account with one click inside the app.
- One-click in app: go to Settings → Data & Privacy → Delete Facebook/Instagram Data, then confirm. This immediately removes access tokens, stored Page/IG IDs, and cached analytics tied to your account, and returns a confirmation code.

Security
We use industry-standard safeguards (encryption in transit and at rest, scoped access controls). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we continuously improve our protections.
International Transfers
We may process data in the United States or other countries where our vendors operate and will apply appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable law.
Children
Localfy is for businesses and not directed to children under 13 (or the age required by your region). We do not knowingly collect such data.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest changes. Material updates will be communicated in-app or by email where appropriate.
